PAM WIENER (Annie)

Pam has been in a whole range of Cardiff Open Air Festival shows at both St Fagans and Sophia Gardens, since playing Toad in Wind in the Willows in 2005, then The Mad Hatter in the following year’s family show, Alice in Wonderland.

Other roles include Dromio of Syracuse (The Comedy of Errors), Maria (Twelfth Night), Yvonne (Hi-De-Hi!), Able Seaman (HMS Pinnafore) and various roles in Macbeth, as well as assistant director on The Merchant of Venice. She has also appeared in several productions in the company’s Playhouse Season at Chapter, including Three Sisters, The Crucible, Oh! What a Lovely War, and Lysistrata, and will next be performing in Brian Friel’s Afterplay in October.

Pam has also directed Playhouse Creatures and Brontë for Everyman and served several years on the Executive Board, as Membership Secretary.

A drama teacher by trade, Pam loves the opportunity to “practice what she preaches” and is forever grateful for the opportunities to do this with Everyman. She feels blessed to be entrusted with playing Annie in Calendar Girls, bringing their story of bravery and friendship to Festival audiences this summer.
