MARIS LYONS (Angie the Ox)

Maris is a big fan of Guys & Dolls. 30 years ago, she played Sarah, a Mission Doll, in Hong Kong; 10 years ago, she played Mimi, a Hot Box Girl, right here with the Festival; and this year she is thrilled to be back as feisty Angie the Ox, a Crapshooter/Gambler. Which role is her favourite? This one of course!

She has performed in many other musicals with the Festival over the years including Fiddler on the Roof, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and HMS Pinafore. Favourite roles from shows over the years include Eliza (My Fair Lady), Ermengarde (Hello, Dolly!), Judy (A Chorus Line) Annie (42nd Street), Graziella (West Side Story), and Sunflower Queen (Tickledom). She is thrilled to be part of this great team that makes up the Festival – all the volunteers, cast and crew – and would like to thank every audience member for being here to support.
