This is Kate’s fourth show with Everyman and the Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival, with previous appearances comprising: Fiddler on the Roof (2018); Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing (2019); and Olivia in Twelfth Night (2022).

A Midsummer Night’s Dream was the first Shakespeare play Kate ever saw. It was a particularly memorable production because her father was playing the role of Oberon, complete with sparkling purple hair and sporting her mother’s rather dashing green tights.

Over two decades later, Kate is thrilled that she is finally following in the family footsteps, and especially grateful to be treading the boards in the play that has inspired in her an enduring love of literature, theatre and all things Shakespeare.
