JESS COURTNEY (Dolly)

After moving to South Wales, and a few years away from the stage, my involvement in the festival started in 2018, kicking off my experience in The Merchant of Venice. Since then, I’ve performed as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Maria in Twelfth Night, and as Phyllis in the Festival’s 2021 tour of The Railway Children, a particular highlight of my time being involved with the company.

I’ve also had the pleasure of taking part in the Playhouse Season of Everyman Theatre, with roles in Blue Stockings, Road, and The Pillowman. I have previously been a member of the Nottingham New Theatre, which included performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and Nantwich Players.
