EAMONN CORBETT (Philostrate)

Eamonn credits his parents with his interest in drama through their involvement in a pantomime society. His secondary school theatre club then introduced him to drama and he soon became an avid theatregoer there and later on at University. So for him, it was then a natural progression to actually go on stage!

Eamonn has worked with Everyman since 2003 when he featured in The Weir by Conor McPherson. Since then he has done many theatrical productions both with Everyman and at the Dolman Theatre in Newport. In the last 10 years he’s also got into musical theatre and TV work.

Roles in recent years include Meyer Wolfsheim in The Great Gatsby, Avram in Fiddler on the Roof, The Colonel in Journey’s End, Mr. Gardiner in Pride and Prejudice, Prof. Radleigh in Blue Stockings and the older Mr. Osborne in Vanity Fair. So far this year he has performed as the storyteller in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Captain Cat in Under Milk Wood.

Eamonn says that one of the most encouraging things about working with Everyman is seeing so many young people passionately involved in creating drama. He hopes you enjoy our production of “the Dream”!
