AMY BROOKS (Ruth)

Amy joined Everyman in 2001, taking part in the family show at St Fagans as part of the Everyman Open Air Theatre Festival (as it was then named). It was Jack & The Beans Talk, playing a Super Sheep… and it’s been dubious costumes ever since!

Since then she’s taken part in many Festival productions, including Mrs Pike in Dad’s Army, Mrs Miggins in Blackadder The Third, Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives Of Windsor, and her personal favourite to date, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

She’s thrilled to be taking part in Calendar Girls with such a supportive and fun cast and to be directed once again by Simon H West. Rehearsals have been a blast…with lots of cake!
