AMANDA LARSSON (Fairy)

Amanda Larsson comes from Skövde in Sweden. Having played many roles in childhood, including that of Ida in a home-town production of Astrid Lindgren’s Emil i Lönneberga, she studied acting at Stockholm’s Elementära Teaterskola. Her first role in English came in 2019, playing the lead role of young mother Lucy in Alan Ayckbourn’s Mother Figure, which included a week-long run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Since moving to Wales, as well as releasing a series of singles with her band “Detective Larsson”, Amanda has featured in Everyman Theatre’s production of Federico García Lorca’s Blood Wedding, Peculiar Productions’ Sleepy Hollow and the Cardiff Players’ rendition of original screwball comedy Eat the Telly. She is looking forward to her first Shakespeare in the Sophia Gardens sunshine…
