Laura is delighted to make a return to the Festival this year after a few years’ absence. The chance to be in Calendar Girls, she says, was just too good to miss.

She has a long history of performing on both the amateur and professional stage. Credits include: Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing, Maria in Twelfth Night, Aemilia in The Comedy of Errors (all Festival productions); Jocasta in Oedipus (Black Rat Productions), Margaret in One O’Clock from the House and Deidre in Trivial Pursuits (both Frank Vickery’s Grassroots Productions), Regan in King Lear (Cardiff Little Theatre) and Ms Darbus in High School Musical (for two different companies), plus a long line of Orbit Theatre productions. She also performs as one half of the professional close-harmony singing duo “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” with fellow Calendar Girl Joan Hoctor (Chris).
